Authentic manufactured in US, Dow Filmtec™ TW30-1812-36D RO membrane is the top of the line workhorse for reverse osmosis systems. This membrane is rated at 36 gallons per day. These membranes usually last 1-3 years depending on water source quality and volume.
Perfect for highly chlorinated water and recommended to be used with sediment and a Carbon Pre Filters. The residual chlorine in municipal or city water will destroy the Thin Film Composite (TFC) membrane so it's not recommended to use this reverse osmosis membrane alone.

Filmtec reverse osmosis membrane TW30-1812-36D element is NSF/ANSI Standard 58 listed. Filmtec home drinking water elements are rated at 50 PSI and will purify about 20% more water than competitive elements rated at 60 PSI.
